Junior Automation & Systems Developer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and capable individual to join the Information Systems team at Infinidat as a Junior Automation & Systems Developer.

The Information Systems team is dedicated to optimizing business processes through automation, integration, and the development of new information systems, increasingly using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to build applications from scratch, not just connect existing ones. This role will primarily focus on Workato development, Jira customizations, scripting, and process automation, while contributing to the team's growing work building new internal systems. By integrating diverse platforms and enhancing workflows, the team drives operational efficiency across multiple departments. We prioritize continuous innovation to ensure seamless system integration, reducing manual tasks while maximizing overall impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation workflows using Workato to integrate business systems
• Help build and extend internal information systems using modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor), turning business needs into working tools alongside the team
• Customize and develop Jira solutions, including scripting, workflow optimization, and REST API integrations
• Design and implement process automation across multiple platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Confluence, Agile)
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing automations and systems to improve efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and convert them into actionable technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code using Python, JavaScript, or other relevant scripting languages
• Additionally help support Domo/BI development (~20% capacity), assisting with ETLs, data connections, and dashboards, to help manage current team workloadDocument automation processes and systems thoroughly to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming (Python preferred; other languages acceptable)
• Experience working with REST APIs for data exchange between systems
• Interest and some experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, or similar) to help build software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of business logic
• A genuine willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Openness to picking up BI/dashboarding tools (e.g., Domo).

Preferred Qualifications-

• Experience with Jira development (e.g., Groovy scripting, workflow automation)
• Prior experience working with information systems (e.g., Jira, SFDC, NetSuite)
• Experience building an application or internal tool from scratch, even a small one
• Familiarity with cloud-based and on-prem automation and integration tools
• Familiarity with BI/dashboarding tools (Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
