Program Manager - Product & Engineering Operations

Product & Engineering Operations builds and continuously improves the operating model that connects product planning, project execution, development delivery, and organizational decision-making across R&D. This is a highly hands-on role accountable for defining, deploying, measuring, and continuously improving company-wide product and development processes, workflows, systems, and execution mechanisms. The role requires deep understanding of software and product development practices together with familiarity with structured development frameworks such as ASPICE. 

What will your job look like?

• Own rollout and adoption of company-wide product and development processes. 
• Define operating models, workflows, responsibilities, and governance mechanisms. 
• Work directly with Product Managers, Development Managers, Program Managers, and engineering teams from a position of experience and credibility. 
• Drive continuous workflow optimization to improve execution quality, predictability, and organizational efficiency. 
• Identify bottlenecks and implement measurable improvements. 
• Own deployment and adoption of supporting tools, dashboards, and systems. 
• Define KPIs and monitoring frameworks and convert metrics into actionable outcomes. 
• Use operational data to drive decisions, prioritization, and continuous improvement. 
• Ensure processes support ASPICE and other applicable development standards while remaining practical and efficient for engineering teams. 
• Lead change management and remain engaged until processes become the standard way of working. 

All you need is:

• 7+ years in Program Management, Product Operations, Engineering Operations, or similar. 
• Must have prior hands-on experience in either Product Management or Software Development. 
• Proven experience defining and deploying company-wide processes and operating models. 
• Strong hands-on orientation toward systems, tools, workflows, and execution. 
• Experience implementing workflow, planning, tracking, ALM, or reporting systems. 
• Strong understanding of software development and product development best practices. 
• Experience working within or alongside ASPICE, ISO 15288, ISO 26262, or comparable development frameworks, with the ability to translate framework requirements into practical and scalable ways of working. 
• Experience building KPI frameworks, dashboards, monitoring systems, and data-driven improvement programs. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actions and business outcomes. 
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority. 
• Excellent communication skills with senior management.
