We are looking for a Software Engineering student to join our engineering team in HolonThe role focuses on defining, designing, reviewing, and integrating software tools for engineering and laboratory environmentsYou will work closely with system engineers, R&D teams, and software developers
ResponsibilitiesDesign technical solutions and workflows for engineering software tools, supported by modern AI-assisted development methodsDefine software requirements and acceptance criteriaDesign interfaces, APIs, data formats, and integration methodsReview software tools against their requirements and identify architectural, integration, performance, and usability gapsSupport application integration, testing, and debugging in engineering and laboratory environments
RequirementsSecond-year Software Engineering studentCertified Practical Software Engineer with relevant development experience – an advantageGood knowledge of Python and software-design principlesKnowledge of client-server architecture, REST APIs, and service integrationFamiliarity with Linux, Git, and server environmentsAbility to read and write technical documentation in EnglishAbility to work effectively with system engineers, R&D teams, and software developersAbility to learn new technologies and complete assigned tasks independentlyAvailability for two to three working days per week
AdvantagesProjects involving backend systems, data pipelines, or distributed applicationsFamiliarity with databases, big-data concepts, and S3-compatible object storageFamiliarity with Docker, CI/CD, message queues, caching, or containerized servicesPractical use of AI-assisted tools for software design, requirements analysis, coding, testing, and documentation
