For our Haifa site, we are looking for an experienced Software Systems Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team and lead the development, integration, and validation of advanced defense systems.
In this role, you will take part in the definition, design, integration, and delivery of complex software-intensive systems. You will work closely with software, hardware, electronics, networking, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop mission-critical solutions, playing a key role throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept and architecture through integration, validation, and customer deployment.
Responsibilities:Define and manage system requirements, interfaces, and technical documentationLead system integration, verification, validation, and acceptance activitiesCollaborate with Software, Hardware, Electronics, Networking, and Mechanical Engineering teams to ensure successful system development and integrationDrive system-level design decisions and resolve complex technical challengesSupport customer demonstrations, field testing, and operational deploymentsCoordinate technical activities with subcontractors and external partners when requiredProvide technical leadership throughout the entire product lifecycle
Requirements:B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related disciplineExperience in Systems Engineering of complex multidisciplinary systemsStrong understanding of software-intensive systems and system architectureExperience in requirements engineering, interface management, system integration, and validation processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to lead technical activities independently and drive projects to completionHigh level of EnglishWillingness to travel internationally as required
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in Linux-based environmentsFamiliarity with networking concepts and distributed systemsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, or cloud-native architecturesBackground in Command & Control (C2) systemsExperience with maritime or unmanned systemsMilitary naval backgroundExperience working on mission-critical or defense-related systems
