AI Engineer - Base44

Job Description

As an AI Engineer, you'll work on cutting-edge technologies, tackle challenging technical problems, and influence the engineering culture at Base44. You'll become an industry leader in AI-native development while improving your skills and collaborating with top-notch engineers. In your day-to-day, you will:

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in tech-first product companies or high-growth startups
• AI-pilled daily workflow: You use AI coding tools as your primary workspace, leveraging AI across the full software lifecycle (planning/design, implementation, testing, refactoring, maintenance) while maintaining high standards for architecture, quality, security, scalability, and reliability
• Hands-on with agents in production: tool calling, context management, evals, and cost and latency tradeoffs.
