Description
Description
Business Development Operations builds the operating system behind Elsight’s business development team—the tools, data, processes, and working rhythms that turn activity into coordinated execution and help us reach our revenue goals. You will create the foundation that enables the team to move faster, make better decisions, and follow through consistently. This is a builder role for someone who enjoys starting with a blank page, making sense of complexity, and creating practical ways of working. You’ll shape how the function operates as we scale—bringing clarity, visibility, and ownership without adding unnecessary bureaucracy—so our business development team can spend more time with customers and partners and less time navigating friction.
Who are we?
Elsight builds the technology that keeps autonomous systems connected and mission-ready—anywhere, across air, land, and maritime domains. Our Halo platform is already field-proven across more than 500,000 operational hours and trusted by 80+ customers worldwide, from defense forces to commercial operators. We took a bold idea and turned it into a proven public company (ASX: ELS) at the forefront of the autonomy revolution. With 10x year-over-year revenue growth and rapid global expansion, we're scaling fast—and we're just getting started. Join us to work on hard, meaningful problems alongside people who care about getting them right, and to help shape one of the defining technology shifts of the decade.
You will…
- Build and continuously improve the processes, tools, and working rhythms that power our business development organization.
- Design a clear operating flow from initial opportunity through qualification, ownership, follow-up, and handoff—making sure promising conversations turn into action.
- Own the quality and structure of our CRM and business development data, creating a reliable source of truth for the team.
- Develop practical dashboards, reporting, and forecasting that give leadership clear visibility into pipeline health, priorities, progress, and risks.
- Create effective planning and review cadences that keep a global team aligned without adding unnecessary meetings or bureaucracy.
- Connect business development with Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and field teams so information flows quickly and commitments are followed through.
- Build the operational foundation for customer, partner, and OEM activity, including clear ownership, next steps, enablement, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify friction and gaps in how we work, get to the root cause, and implement solutions that help the team move faster and make better decisions.
- Document playbooks and standards that make successful ways of working repeatable as the company and team grow.
Requirements
Apply if you have…
- 2-3 years of experience in business development operations, sales operations, revenue operations, or a similar role in a fast-growing B2B organization.
- A track record of building practical processes, systems, and operating rhythms from the ground up—not just maintaining existing ones.
- Strong hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot) and the ability to design clear data structures, workflows, governance, and adoption standards.
- Experience developing pipeline reporting, dashboards, forecasting, and performance insights that leaders and teams can act on.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn incomplete or complex information into clear priorities and practical solutions.
- Strong project management and execution skills, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, clarify ownership, and drive follow-through.
- Clear, concise communication skills and the confidence to work effectively with senior leaders and globally distributed teams.
- A collaborative, service-oriented mindset—you enjoy enabling others while constructively challenging habits that create friction or slow the team down.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and sound judgment, with the ability to balance structure and speed in a rapidly changing environment.
- Professional fluency in English.
If you’ve made it this far and are excited about the opportunity, don’t let a few unchecked boxes hold you back. If you believe you’re a strong fit for the role, we’d love to hear from you.
