Description

Paragon is a fastest-growing Cyber intelligence company that is rapidly establishing itself as a key player in the industry. We are a young innovative company with a cutting-edge product based in Tel Aviv.

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to manage one of our deployment and infrastructure teams.

The team is responsible for the end-to-end delivery and operation of infrastructure across customer environments and company-managed data centers, including new system deployments, infrastructure projects, maintenance, escalations, and the rollout of new capabilities.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining people management, infrastructure expertise, operational ownership, and execution.

The Team Lead will own the team's planning and execution, develop the technical capabilities of the engineers, and ensure the team can successfully handle both planned infrastructure work and complex operational challenges.

The role requires close collaboration with Solutions, DevOps, R&D, Support, NOC, Operations, and other Deployment teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of deployment and infrastructure engineers, including professional development, ownership, prioritization, and performance management.

• Own the team's sprint planning, backlog, priorities, and execution.

• Lead infrastructure projects, including new capabilities, architecture changes, hardware changes, network changes, and expansion of existing environments.

• Participate in and lead complex infrastructure escalations as part of the group's escalation rotation.

• Ensure clear ownership, structured troubleshooting, documentation, and proper handover of ongoing incidents.

• Build and maintain strong technical knowledge across customer environments, networking, servers, firewalls, Kubernetes, and product infrastructure.

• Identify recurring operational issues and work with Solutions, DevOps, Support, and NOC to improve processes, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Coordinate activities across multiple regions and time zones when required.

• Participate in the group's on-call operation and ensure proper team readiness and coverage.

• Building clear ownership areas within the team.

• Developing engineers across Deployment, Infrastructure, Networking, Kubernetes, and troubleshooting domains

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure, System Engineering, Deployment Engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical role.

• Previous experience leading engineers or serving in a strong technical leadership position.

• Strong Linux and system administration knowledge.

• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall concepts.

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and networking issues.

• Experience with physical servers, hardware, and data-center environments.

• Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerized environments.

• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting, preferably Python, Bash, and/or Ansible.

• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and priorities in a dynamic production environment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing infrastructure across multiple global sites

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability.

• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.

• Experience working directly with customers or partners during infrastructure deployments.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means building a team that can reliably execute both planned and unplanned infrastructure work.

The team should be able to deliver deployments and infrastructure projects on schedule, maintain its existing environments, handle complex escalations, and continuously improve its technical independence.

The Team Lead is expected to create a predictable operating model where priorities are clear, ownership is visible, planned work is protected as much as possible, and the team can respond effectively when operational needs arise.
