EHS specialist - Safety Officer

In this position, you will be part of the EHS team supporting Mobileye campuses, with a primary focus on the Haifa, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Petah Tikva sites, as well as remote locations across Europe, the U.S., and China. The team's areas of expertise include Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, ESG, Occupational Health, and Ergonomics. The team supports Mobileye’s business units across Research & Development, Operations and Maintenance, Logistics, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, and more.

This position requires on-site presence at our Jerusalem offices 5 days a week.

What will your job look like?

• Act as Mobileye’s appointed Safety Officer and serve as the focal point for all occupational health and safety activities across the organization.

• Lead the company’s safety strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.

• Lead ISO 45001 certification and surveillance audits, ensuring compliance and promoting operational excellence.

• Design and manage safety training and awareness programs for employees, managers, laboratories, workshops, and contractors.

• Monitor safety performance through KPIs, compliance metrics, trend analysis, and reporting systems to drive continuous improvement.

• Lead risk assessment activities, manage incident investigations, compliance inspections, corrective action tracking, and mitigation programs across multiple sites and functions.

• Build and execute the annual Occupational Health & Safety work plan, including goals, priorities, and improvement initiatives.

• Integrate EHS requirements into engineering, infrastructure, construction, and operational projects from planning through execution and handover.

All you need:

• Certified Safety Officer qualification – must.

• 5+ years of experience as a Safety Officer in a large-scale organization or complex operational environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field – advantage.

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, risk management methodologies, and compliance frameworks.

• Experience leading ISO 45001 audits and maintaining safety management systems.
  Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and partner across all organizational levels.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
