What You Will Be Doing
- Lead customers through all stages of designing their systems based on Nuvoton manageability and security microcontrollers %28i.e., BMC, EC, SIO and TPM%29 from planning till production.
- Respond and resolve customer hardware related issues and requests, reported by the regional support team %28FAEs%29 or directly by customers.
- Work closely with R&D, architects and PMs to provide issue resolutions, workarounds, and implement product features or support tools.
- Key contributor in complex debug tasks for issues found by customers; build debug strategies and hands-on work with the design team through the debug.
- Develop deep knowledge of customer applications and systems, recommend application solutions, design ideas and products to customer design teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation %28e.g., reference schematics , application notes, design guidelines%29.
- Provide inputs and participate in next generation ICs definition based on customer inputs.
- Contribute to the definition of innovative and differentiated products.
Requirements
To apply for this position, you must have
- B.S.c degree in electronic engineering
- 5+ years of board and system design experience
- Prior experience as a HW Engineer in the Semiconductor industry, Applications or Board design experience is preferred.
- Strong lab test and measurement skills and proficiency with product characterization equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
- Experience with complex SoCs and high speed interfaces like DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience with hands-on debugging of embedded systems.
- High level English communication and presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Former experience with working with Tier-1 OEM PC makers, Server and Datacenter domains and ODM in APAC
- Familiarity with Verilog, FPGA and CPLD implementation
- Programming skills like C/Python
