Responsibilities
- Serve as the appointed Safety Officer across company operational and construction sites
- Develop and maintain safety management programs, procedures and work instructions.
- Provide professional guidance to site managers and teams on safety, occupational health and environmental compliance.
- Conduct audits, inspections and safety observations.
- Supervise and support high-risk activities, including electrical work, confined spaces, lockout/tagout, hot work and working at height.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Deliver employee safety training and lead safety committees.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Travel frequently to operational and construction sites in Israel and Europe.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Safety Officer.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Safety Officer role.
- Qualified to deliver safety training and prepare safety management programs.
- Experience supporting high-risk operations.
- Strong understanding of statutory safety requirements and professional standards.
- Excellent communication and procedure-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Fluent English and experience working with global suppliers
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
