We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Expert to join our team in Rehovot and lead the design and evolution of IT infrastructure within a large, complex defense organization, supporting critical systems with high standards of security, availability, and resilience
Responsibilities:
Design and define infrastructure architectures in On‑Prem / Data Center environmentsLead target architecture definition and long-term roadmapSupport projects end-to-end from design to productionCollaborate with networking, servers, storage, cybersecurity, DevOps, and R&D teamsDefine infrastructure standards and evaluate new technologiesDesign HA, DR, and Business Continuity solutionsAnalyze performance, availability, and infrastructure risksPrepare and present architecture documentationWork with vendors in a regulated and classified environment
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure in large organizationsExperience in an architectural or senior / lead infrastructure roleProven experience with complex enterprise environmentsStrong knowledge of servers (VMware / Hyper‑V / Nutanix), storage (SAN / NAS), and networkingExperience with HA and DR solutionsStrong understanding of infrastructure security principlesExperience writing design and architecture documentsFluent Hebrew and EnglishSecurity clearance – advantageExperience in defense / regulated environments – advantageExperience with Air‑Gap / classified environments – advantage
