Description
Camtek is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team.
In this role, you will lead demand planning and material planning activities across a complex multidisciplinary hardware environment. You will be responsible for forecasting, MRP planning, inventory optimization, and ensuring material availability to support business growth and customer demand.
Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and global business units, you will play a key role in driving planning excellence and supporting the company's continued expansion.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts based on business needs, sales opportunities, historical consumption, and product lifecycle considerations.
- Lead and monitor MRP planning processes, ensuring accurate purchasing and production recommendations.
- Manage material planning activities across a diverse portfolio of products, assemblies, and components.
- Support subcontractor manufacturing activities by ensuring material readiness and production continuity.
- Optimize inventory levels while balancing customer demand, lead times, and business objectives.
- Analyze planning data, identify supply chain risks, and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and global stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and leverage AI-based tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and planning efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, or Material Planning within a multidisciplinary manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with demand forecasting and MRP planning processes.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, material planning, and supply chain processes.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA, particularly MM and PP modules – Advantage.
- Experience with configurable products and complex product structures – Advantage.
- Experience working in hybrid MTO/MTS manufacturing environments – Advantage.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to improve supply chain planning and forecasting – Advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-growing global environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and global teams.
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
