Our company in Holon is looking for a Software Group Manager to join the Intelligence & Electronic Warfare Division. In this senior leadership role, you will lead software development teams in a cutting-edge technological environment, with full responsibility for delivery, professional and technological leadership, and direct management of team leads, while driving the development of mission-critical defense systems and innovative technological solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Direct management of software team leads and leadership of the department’s software teamsEnd-to-end responsibility for software project delivery, including timelines, quality, and scopeResource planning and allocation across teams according to project needsManagement of the department’s budget and oversight of resource utilizationProfessional and technological leadership, including defining development standards and best practicesOngoing collaboration with project managers, system engineering teams, and additional cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Software Engineering or Computer ScienceAt least 8 years of software development experienceExperience managing team leads or leading multiple teams simultaneouslyProven experience leading the development of complex systemsExperience working in a highly cross-functional environmentExperience managing budgets and resources – advantageFamiliarity with Generative AI tools in development processes – advantageExperience in the defense industry or with complex systems – advantageStrong leadership and people management skills, with both strategic vision and attention to detailAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
