Student position – Information Systems and Data Analysis in the Quality Team

A role combining work with an ERP system to manage organizational processes and data, analysis using a BI system to present reports and metrics, and support for quality activities. The role involves working with Engineering, Production, and project teams.

ERP System and Work Processes

• Set up projects in the system: define workflow steps, organize data, build forms, and specify the information to be collected from measurement equipment.

• Link raw materials, components, production stages, and test results to enable tracking of each product’s history throughout the project.

• Train and guide users, provide system support, and assist with troubleshooting.

• Review data to identify missing information, errors, and inconsistencies, and help improve work processes.

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards and monitor automated operations on system data to ensure they work as expected.

Data Analysis and Project Support

• Collect, analyze, and compare data from systems and information sources within and outside the organization.

• Build and improve BI reports and dashboards for project teams and management.

• Analyze project, production, and quality data to identify trends and anomalies and present insights and recommendations.

• Provide data-based status updates and respond to requests for information and analysis.

• Cross-reference data and maintain links between materials, components, production stages, and measurement results to support problem investigation.

Quality Support

• Prepare certificates of conformity and analysis (COC / COA) for customer shipments, based on approved data and company procedures.

• Compile and update key quality requirements for each project and incorporate them into work processes.

• Compile, document, and track internal quality issues and issues reported by suppliers or customers, and help collect data to investigate failures, deviations, and customer returns.

• Track Engineering’s production data and enter it into the ERP system, including batch records and assembly processes for optical layers and components, while maintaining traceability across all production stages.

Requirements

• Ability to use Excel to organize, review, and analyze data.

• Ability to learn information systems and understand work processes.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, BI tools, or data analysis through coursework or a project is an advantage.

• No prior work experience or familiarity with the company’s specific systems is required.

Update data and prepare reports and documents in accordance with assigned permissions and company procedures. Quality documents and product release are approved by the company’s designated authorized personnel.

Third- or fourth-year undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering and Management.

High proficiency in Hebrew and good English for reading, writing, and working with systems and documents.

Maternity leave cover for one year, working three days per week.
