Vendor Scheduler

Description

What we are looking for:

Nova is looking for a Vendor Scheduler to join our Procurement organization and support our growing business and operational needs.

As a Vendor Scheduler, you will play a key role in ensuring effective execution of the purchasing and supply process, from purchase order approval and supplier confirmation through delivery to Nova.

You will work closely with our suppliers and with cross-functional teams including Planning, Material, R&D, Buyers and Finance, ensuring supplier commitments are aligned with Nova's requirements, material shortages are addressed proactively, and deliveries are executed on time.

This is a dynamic, execution-oriented role that requires strong ownership, excellent follow-up capabilities and the ability to manage multiple suppliers, orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities

What will you be doing:

• Manage purchase orders from requisition through PO approval, supplier confirmation and delivery.
• Monitor and control supplier deliveries against commitments and drive suppliers toward 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Manage material shortages in close collaboration with the Planning team, including expediting activities and escalation when required.
• Proactively manage past-due orders, driving suppliers to provide updated commitments and recovery plans.
• Manage action messages and forecasts with suppliers to maintain alignment with changing demand requirements.
• Provide accurate and timely order and delivery information to internal stakeholders, including Material, Planning and R&D.
• Manage supplier invoices and payment-related issues in ongoing collaboration with the Finance department.
• Prepare and manage weekly procurement reports and KPIs, including supplier OTD, order issuance, invoicing and goods receipt status.
• Monitor supplier performance on an ongoing basis, including weekly follow-up of non-conformance reports in collaboration with the relevant Buyers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, planning, vendor scheduling or a similar operational role.
• Strong ability to manage multiple suppliers, purchase orders, priorities and delivery commitments simultaneously.
• Good analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Previous experience in a global manufacturing or technology company - Advantage
• Experience in the semiconductor industry or another complex manufacturing environment - Advantage
• Experience working with international suppliers - Advantage
• Familiarity with supply-chain and supplier-performance KPIs such as OTD, past-due orders, shortages and supplier commitments - Advantage
