Description

Sentra is building an AI-powered Data Security Platform (DSP) that helps enterprises secure data, govern AI, and operate at petabyte scale—across cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments. We’re scaling our Product org and are hiring a VP Product to lead Product Management, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) & Co-Founder.

This is a high-impact leadership role for an exceptional product leader who can translate customer needs, market signals, and company strategy into clear product direction, sharp execution, and measurable business outcomes. You will be expected to raise the bar across roadmap quality, delivery discipline, and product leadership.

Responsibilities

Product strategy and roadmap

• Define and drive the roadmap for how Sentra secures sensitive data and enables safe AI adoption.
• Make clear prioritization decisions across strategic bets, customer demand, and company goals.
• Turn customer, prospect, partner, and field feedback into focused product investments.

Product execution

• Own end-to-end product execution across Product, Design, and R&D.
• Ensure specs are crisp, unambiguous, and implementation-ready, including user journeys, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Improve delivery predictability, release quality, and operating cadence.
• Build repeatable mechanisms for intake, prioritization, decision-making, and release readiness.

Customer and GTM alignment

• Run a tight feedback loop across customers, Sales, SE, CS, Support, and partners.
• Ensure releases are clear, differentiated, and easy for GTM teams to position and sell.
• Maintain a strong connection to customer pain, urgency, and product-market reality.

Team leadership

• Lead and develop PMs and designers.
• Set a high bar for product thinking, execution, communication, and ownership.
• Create clarity in decision-making, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, including 3+ years leading PMs and cross-functional product delivery.
• Proven success building and scaling enterprise product motions with tight feedback loops across Sales, SE, and CS.
• Strong product judgment with the ability to balance long-term strategy and urgent inbound needs without losing focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to make decisions and tradeoffs clear across the organization.
• Strong customer obsession and the ability to distinguish signal from noise.
• Experience operating in highly technical domains and translating technical complexity into clear customer outcomes.
• Experience building, adopting, or scaling AI-native processes is a must.
• Ability to work with high urgency, high ownership, and high standards.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in security products such as DSPM, DLP, data governance, identity and access, or cloud security.
• Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructure and AI platforms.
• Experience partnering closely with Design leadership and maintaining a high UX bar.
• Experience working with product marketing and sales enablement to turn product capability into clear market messaging.
