We are looking forFor Elbit site in Bar-Lev Industrial Zone or Haifa we are looking for an Aeronautical Technical Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role in the aerospace engineering domain, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving the development and structural enhancement of airborne platforms. The position combines both technical depth and project leadership within a leading defense organization that values innovation, technological excellence, and meaningful contribution
In this role you willDesign and develop airborne structuresLead structural upgrade programs for airborne platformsLead a team of engineers and additional support functions in a matrix environmentBe responsible for the engineering deliverables of the program from initiation through development, verification, prototype, and serial productionAct as the technical counterpart and right hand of the Program Manager within the IPT team, working across multiple internal and external stakeholdersManage the engineering plan including preparation and control of the GANTTEnsure technical compliance with defined program requirementsHold joint responsibility for meeting quality, schedule, and cost targetsPrepare and manage engineering design reviewsCoordinate between multiple engineering disciplines and take part in key decision points
RequirementsB.Sc. in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering - MandatoryM.Sc. - AdvantageAt least 5 years of experience in structural design and/or aircraft modification designExperience in technical leadership for aerospace projects - AdvantageAbility to learn and master new technical domainsProficiency in writing and managing technical specifications and development plansStrong ability to influence without authority and to lead cross-functional collaborationExperience in managing subcontractors and consultants in various engineering fields - AdvantageFamiliarity with civil and military aviation standards - Advantage
