DBA - Oracle & SQL Server

Description

abra is seeking an experienced Oracle & SQL Server DBA to join a large organization in the Rishon LeZion area.

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for the administration, maintenance, operation, and optimization of complex and mission-critical database environments.

Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and implementation and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions across Oracle and SQL Server environments. The position also involves working with both On-Premise and Cloud databases, SQL query optimization, troubleshooting, and providing professional support to development and implementation teams

Requirements

4+ years of hands-on DBA experience.

Strong hands-on experience with both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience with database installation, upgrades, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.

Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance improvement.

Experience working across various computing environments and operating systems.

Experience with large-scale, mission-critical databases – an advantage.

Experience with Oracle RAC, GoldenGate, Cloud databases, database encryption, and Compression – an advantage.

B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant technological education/training (including practical engineering studies or extensive professional IT training).

Experience planning, managing, and leading database infrastructure projects – a strong advantage.

Availability for maintenance activities during evening and nighttime hours when required.

Valid driver's license.
