Electro-Optics Integration Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electro-Optics Integration Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team developing advanced quantum computing systems. The role involves hands-on assembly, alignment, calibration, and maintenance of delicate electro-optical setups, working closely with researchers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, and calibrate delicate optical components with high precision.

• Build, maintain, and optimize electro-optical setups for quantum computing experiments.

• Troubleshoot electro-optical systems and implement solutions to improve performance.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electro-optical components into larger systems.

• Maintain detailed documentation of setups, procedures, and experimental results in accordance with quality standards.

• Explore and apply new techniques to enhance electro-optical system capabilities.

Requirements

• Practical Engineer diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electro-optics.

• Proven experience building and maintaining delicate, high-precision assemblies, including bonding and adhesive application.

• Strong understanding of optical principles, laser systems, optical components, and alignment procedures.

• Hands-on experience using laboratory equipment, including lasers, optical detectors, and optical power meters.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, precision, and attention to detail.
