In this role you will
Lead civil certification processes for hardware and firmware in civil aviation in accordance with the DO-254 standard across the company and subcontractorsSupport the development of innovative civil and military aircraft and UAV projectsLead and represent certification activities with civil and military aviation authorities and leading aerospace industries abroadLead flight permit approvals and certification activities for aircraft and UAV systemsManage certification processes across multiple organizational interfacesDefine and characterize certification requirements, processes, and required documentationReview and guide engineering reports for regulatory approvalParticipate in safety committees and global standardization groups in the field of aircraft and UAV systems
Requirements
B.Sc. degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Systems EngineeringAt least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer / Hardware Engineer / Firmware Engineer / Technical ManagerAt least 3 years of experience in matrix management and working with engineering interfaces and external customersExperience as a Certification Manager - AdvantageExperience working with civil or military aviation authorities - AdvantageFamiliarity with aviation certification and airworthiness standards - AdvantageHigh proficiency in Hebrew and English, additional languages such as Spanish / French / German - AdvantageAbility to work under multiple tasks, lead interfaces, and perform under programmatic pressure*Only relevant applications will be answered#Modiin-Maccabim–Reut#Haifa
