We are looking for a professional and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at the company site in Rehovot and take part in designing complex opto-mechanical systems and precision motion mechanisms, including advanced test setups and fixtures in a multidisciplinary environment
Job Description:Mechanical and opto-mechanical design of complex mechanisms and systems, including precision mechanics and motion mechanismsFull responsibility from concept phase through detailed development to system integrationIndependent work or as part of a team while meeting project requirements in terms of schedule and qualityOngoing collaboration with parallel disciplines such as electronics and systems engineeringSupport for manufacturing and electronic packaging processes, implementing engineering changes, and preparing complete engineering documentation
Job Requirements:BSc in Mechanical EngineeringAt least 5 years of experience in mechanical design of mechanisms and precision mechanicsIn-depth familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, and sheet metal bendingExperience with SolidWorks softwareKnowledge of tolerances, GD&T, technical drawings, and engineering documentation Over 5 years of experience in opto-mechanical design – advantageUnderstanding and ability in electronic packaging – advantageExperience in military or aerospace system design – advantageExcellent interpersonal communicationAbility to work in a multi-tasking and interface-rich environmentHigh analytical skillsCreativity and determination to find solutions and meet goalsWillingness to travel abroad frequently
