Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the R&D team of a leading medical device company.

The role involves the design and development of advanced electromechanical products, with a strong focus on precision drive mechanisms, from initial concept through prototyping, testing, and transfer to production.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electromechanical products and precision drive mechanisms.

• Lead mechanical design activities from concept through development and production.

• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Build, assemble, and test mechanical components and prototypes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Support troubleshooting, design improvements, and manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in electromechanical product design and development – Must.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing precision drive mechanisms – Must.

• Proven experience in mechanical design from concept through production.

• Excellent hands-on experience with SolidWorks and PDM.

• Hands-on experience in building, assembling, and testing mechanical components.

• Strong engineering documentation skills, including drawings, specifications, and processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.

• Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards – Advantage.
