We are looking fora Software student to join our multidisciplinary development group at our Haifa site, within the Aerospace division at Elbit SystemsOur group develops advanced software systems for the UAV domain, with a focus on Terrain Dominance solutions. You'll work across a wide range of technologies and platforms - from development close to the hardware to high-level GUI-based systems. In this role you willDesign and implement complex software systems across multiple platforms and technologiesWork on navigation and guidance systems, image manipulation, and video compressionDevelop communication protocols and integrate physical interfacesDevelop and integrate advanced algorithmsCollaborate with software, system engineers, algorithmic and electro-optics teams to deliver innovative solutionsWork with high performance computers, advanced GPUs and Linux-based environments alongside VxWorks and Windows
RequirementsSecond or third-year B.Sc student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalentAt least one year remaining until graduation1+ year of experience in C++ development and debuggingProficiency in AI concepts and hands-on experience with AI-driven development workflowsExperience in Linux development - advantageFamiliarity with C#, CMAKE, GIT, and CI/CD - advantageAbility to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing goals and requirements
