System Engineer – Production Support for Laser and Observation Systems

The role combines hands-on work on the production floor and in the laboratory, including integration, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement, while working closely with R&D, Production, Quality, and supplier teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing engineering support to the production line, including integration, calibration, and testing of lasers and electro-optical systems.

• Investigate and troubleshoot system- and subsystem-level issues, identifying root causes.

• Write and update test procedures, work instructions, and engineering documentation.

• Analyze test results and production data, and lead corrective actions to improve production yield and quality.

• Serve as a technical point of contact for R&D, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams, as well as external suppliers.

• Participate in product transfer from R&D to production and drive improvements in manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor%27s degree in Physics, Electro-Optics Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven hands-on capabilities and practical laboratory experience.

• Understanding of optical and laser principles.

• Strong analytical skills and a practical, problem-solving approach.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal skills.
