AI & Software Engineer - AI Data Platforms

For our AI Data Platform Group in Haifa, we seek an AI & Software Engineer to join the team leading the organization’s AI and GenAI transformationThe AI Data Platform Group is a core enterprise team responsible for the AI-native data platform and for leading the vision and development of the Company Brain. We build and manage the full AI and GenAI lifecycle, from infrastructure, data services, labeling, AI model development, and advanced data asset management, accelerating the shift into an AI and data-driven enterpriseAs part of this role, you will help build the Company Brain, an enterprise intelligence platform connecting organizational knowledge, data, processes, people, and AI agents into a trusted, scalable ecosystemYou will work with advanced AI technologies, modern data platforms, and cross-organizational teams while shaping next-generation GenAI capabilities across the company
In this role you willDefine the architecture, technical roadmap, development, and company-wide rollout of the Company Brain platformDesign and develop scalable frameworks for connecting, ingesting, and unifying organizational data sources, knowledge bases, and enterprise systemsDrive adoption and implementation of the Company Brain across business and engineering domains, ensuring data is contextual, high quality, and ready for GenAI useDesign, develop, and maintain the enterprise data layer and cross-organizational data platforms supporting the company’s GenAI capabilitiesBuild core data services, ingestion and processing pipelines, data access and integration layers, and retrieval infrastructure such as RAG pipelines, vector stores, and semantic search to enable scalable, secure, and efficient AI adoptionEnsure data platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, governed, and accessible across the organizationDevelop and integrate data-driven GenAI services addressing diverse organizational needsLead end-to-end projects from requirements through development to production deploymentCoordinate team plans, priorities, and delivery timelines while ensuring collaboration and alignment with stakeholders across multiple organizational interfacesPromote engineering excellence through communication, documentation, ownership, and accountabilityContinuously explore emerging GenAI and data platform capabilitiesShare knowledge and best practices within the team and across the organization
RequirementsB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience from elite IDF tech unitsAt least 3 years of experience developing production-grade software systemsExperience designing AI systems from concept to productionStrong development experience in Python and Linux environmentsHands-on experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, multi-agent systems, RAG, MCP, context engineering, knowledge graphs, and agent orchestrationHands-on experience with vector databases, semantic search, and large-scale RAG architecturesProficiency with cloud and on-prem deploymentsProven technical leadership or lead engineer experience including planning, milestones, and deliveryExcellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams and organizational interfacesExperience designing and building enterprise-scale data platforms, pipelines, and data layers – AdvantageExperience with enterprise search, knowledge management, knowledge graphs, or semantic retrieval systems – AdvantageExperience with AI agent platforms and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar – AdvantageFamiliarity with data governance, data quality, and data security in enterprise environments – AdvantageExperience with MLOps or LLMOps practices and CI/CD for AI and data systems – AdvantageExperience integrating diverse organizational data sources – Advantage
