In this role you will
Lead system engineering and architecture for electro optical space systems, including requirement allocation, interface management and system trade offs (performance, weight, power, data budget, etc.)Prepare and lead system reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR) and related engineering deliverables such as ICD, V&V, ATP/ATRManage system design maturity processes, risks and mitigation activitiesWrite and manage system/component requirement specifications (DOORS/Polarion) and perform system modeling and design (SysML)Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define optimal solutionsWork with business stakeholders within the division and with customersLead integration and testing activities with development teams and clientsPerform analyses, prepare test plans and test reportsProvide technical support for tenders and presale activities
Requirements
B.Sc. in Electro Optical Engineering, Physics or Electrical EngineeringM.Sc. in Engineering – advantageAt least 5 years of experience in system engineering or in the development of complex multidisciplinary systemsExperience leading engineering processes in a matrix environmentExperience conducting system design reviews and V&V/integration activitiesHigh level technical English – reading, writing and speakingHands on experience with Matlab / Python / LabView – advantageExperience in electro optical system development and integration – advantageFamiliarity with space system development – advantageStrong interpersonal communication, teamwork and analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
