Mechanical Product Engineer

Join our team in Sderot and take part in developing and manufacturing advanced defense systems. We are looking for a Mechanical Product Engineer to lead NPI and manufacturing processes, provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for advanced defense productsLead NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, including transferring new products from development to production and supporting integration and assembly processesTake full technical ownership of products throughout their lifecycle, including troubleshooting serial production issues and providing effective engineering solutionsDesign production fixtures, jigs, and specialized tools for manufacturing and testing activitiesProvide ongoing engineering support to production lines in Israel and abroadWork closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Procurement, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and ManufacturingPrepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and engineering drawingsLead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve efficiency, quality, and productivityTrain, mentor, and support technical and engineering personnel
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - MandatoryAt least 3 years of industry experience - MandatoryHands-on experience with mechanical manufacturing processes and the ability to read and interpret mechanical and assembly drawings - MandatoryProficiency in SolidWorks - MandatoryExperience working with suppliers and subcontractorsStrong English communication skills and ability to work in a global environmentFamiliarity with manufacturing and assembly production linesExperience in designing fixtures and jigs - AdvantageExperience working with PLM systems - AdvantageKnowledge of electro-optical systems and/or multidisciplinary systems - AdvantageStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead tasks and drive executionSelf-motivated, responsible, creative thinker with a proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities
